Public accreditation of educational programs

The NMC launches public accreditation of educational institutions, and professional public accreditation of secondary vocational, higher and supplementary professional education (vocational training programs) as according to the previous cooperation agreement between the Russian Ministry of Health and the NMC. Relevant notifications have been sent to the Russian Ministry of Education and Science and the Russian Ministry of Health.

Today, models are being developed for the transitioning from state-and-administrative control to state-and-public control, and it becomes logical to engage public organizations into the accreditation of educational establishments. Any accreditation of an educational establishment means assessing the quality of educational programs. In addition to state accreditation, the new Federal Law No273-FZ "On Education in the Russian Federation» introduces the concepts of professional-and-public and public accreditation.
